Introduction

I was actually a client of Remedi, and we would stay in contact throughout the years. The business started as a small surgical and Botox clinic on Coronado Island here in San Diego, California. Dr. G and Nurse Patty reached out to us to meet and discuss the business model and goals for expansion. The focus points they stressed were increasing monthly patients being seen, revenue, and cost management to be able to afford expansion. This was our first exploration into an MSO (Management Services Organization) and our journey into Medical.

Challenge

The med spa industry is a $7 billion one with an annual growth of 30% year over year. This equates to a $1.3 million med spa practice and a monthly income of $108k per business, in addition to an average profit of 29%. This takes 5 years to obtain, according to industry data. While we obtained this in 11 months, we had to navigate patient compliance and care, revenue growth restraints, and product costs, etc.
